We are committed to supporting the systems, structures, and relationships that reach and serve vulnerable children in our city.

This approach allows us to honor a family’s context and stabilize vital elements of a child’s life, health, and identity as they grow. We aim to support organizations that are already doing God-honoring work by assisting with the services they offer through our time and resources.

We believe we're invited to be a part of God’s redeeming work for the most vulnerable.

DID YOU KNOW?

Orange and Osceola are in the top 5% of counties with kids in foster care in the nation.

As of 2023, there were more than 1,500 kids in care in the tri-county area (Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties).

The chance of achieving permanency (permanent placement within a family household) decreases from 74% to 12.5% after a child’s case worker changes.

Get Educated

Foster Care Awareness Events

This educational event is a great opportunity to discover how to serve foster or adoptive children and families. An experienced foster parent or expert in the field will share about the specific and active challenges in the Central Florida area and how we can be praying for, serving, and supporting those who are fostering and adopting in our community.

Check out our events page for an upcoming Awareness Event.

Join or lead a Care Community

50% of foster families quit after the first placement, but with the help of a Care Community, we see over 90% of local foster families last 2-3 times longer.

Care Communities are made up of a team of people who provide practical and emotional support to foster and adoptive families. This team comes around a family to support them with tangible help like meals and household tasks to help care for the child(ren).

Learn more about Care Communities and how you can be a part by attending a Care Community Orientation.
