SERVE GLOBALLY
Go to
Africa
Early on, we’ve felt called to serve the vulnerable beyond our local community, focusing our efforts in East Africa—specifically in Ethiopia and Malawi.
Over the years, we’ve built strong partnerships with local leaders and organizations in these regions, choosing to come alongside those who know their communities best. Rather than starting new programs, we are committed to learning from and supporting the work already being done to bring hope and healing.
We believe everyone has a role to play in this global mission. Whether through prayer, sponsorship, or going on a trip, you can help make a lasting difference.
Pray.
Here are some ways you can pray as a part of your own devotional time or with your Summit Group:
-
“Lord, we ask for your protection, strength, and wisdom for our teams as they serve in Africa. May they be guided by your Spirit, bringing hope, love, and unity to those they meet.” (Isaiah 41:10)
-
“Lord, we lift up our partners in Africa who are faithfully serving their communities. Grant them wisdom, strength, and the resources they need as they work to bring hope and transformation. May our partnership bring unity and lasting impact.” (Philippians 1:3-5)
Please pray specifically for:Children of the Nations’ Malawi staff and for the special needs families in their village.
I Care staff and their new vocational opportunity through Salon Training.
-
“Lord, we pray for the communities and leaders in the countries where we serve. May you bring peace, provision, and stability to these regions. We ask for your presence to be felt by all, guiding hearts toward hope and renewal.” (Jeremiah 29:7)
-
“Lord, we seek your guidance for those considering joining our teams to serve in Africa. Open their hearts to your calling and grant them the courage to step out in faith, knowing they can make a difference in the lives of others.” (Isaiah 6:8)
Sponsor.
-
By sponsoring a child, you ignite hope and restore dignity to vulnerable children, their families, and their communities, all while breaking the cycle of poverty.
-
Your support provides essential resources for education, healthcare, and emotional well-being, empowering children to thrive and grow.
-
I Care for the Nation (ICFTN) is a CarePoint* of Children’s Hope Chest, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital. ICFTN was founded to support orphaned and vulnerable children, along with their families, within a community that faces significant challenges.
*A CarePoint is a dedicated community focused on caring for a high population of vulnerable children, providing a vital partnership opportunity for sponsors like you.
Go.
