Advent 2025
Before the manger, before the star, there was only waiting—centuries of it.
God’s people waited for comfort, for justice, for promises fulfilled. And in the opening chapters of Luke, we hear their songs. A priest finally breaks his silence. A teenage girl sings through her fear. A chorus of angels interrupting an ordinary night. An old man holds the hope of his lifetime. Each voice is different, but the longing is the same: a cry for God to keep His word.
This Advent, we enter into their stories—and our own seasons of waiting and uncertainty—with hearts tuned to hope. Because on Christmas Eve, we remember what we have all longed for: that every ache of every human heart across history was answered in the arrival of Jesus. Even now, in the middle of what’s unfinished, the song of salvation is still ringing out.
