Who does Jesus say he is, and what does his identity mean for you?

When Moses asked God for his name, the answer came from the burning bush: “I AM WHO I AM.” Centuries later, Jesus takes that sacred name upon his own lips by making a series of statements beginning with I AM. “I am the bread of life,” “I am the light of the world,” “I am the resurrection and the life…”

In this series, we’ll explore these divine self-disclosures made by Jesus. They are not mere metaphors. Each statement tells us something specific and unique about Jesus. Each one also reflects back on us, revealing something we desperately need and can find only in him.

Join us as we discover who Jesus is in his own words. His identity shapes ours as we follow him and become more conformed into his image for the sake of others.
