The Road to Golgotha

Love doesn’t pull back when the cost is too high.

As Jesus approaches the final days of his earthly life, every step is an intentional move toward suffering. Knowing exactly what lies ahead, he moves toward misunderstanding, betrayal, and the cross. What unfolds is not a tragic accident, but a chosen path marked by faithfulness and love to the very end.

Throughout Lent, our sermon series, The Way to Golgotha invites us to walk with Jesus through these final moments. We’ll witness his authority over death, His tenderness with those he loves, his humility in service, and his resolve to lay down his life. In Jesus, we see a love that does not retreat, even when it is rejected.

As we follow Jesus on this road, we’re invited to reflect on our own hearts: Where do we resist costly love? Where are we called to remain faithful when it would be easier to turn away?
